AOE4 STATS OVERLAY

PRESENTATION

The tool is an overlay allowing you to display player stats within the game.
It very simple to use, update automatically after one or two minutes in game.
The displayed ranked is from the global leader board

Note 1 : The stats servers are not always stable, particularly after and update. You should count approximatively 24h after an update for the tool to be working again.

Note 2 : Some players are not ranked yet and the data displayed may be empty, or the player absent from the list

PRE-REQUISITE

The tools requires some pre-requisite to work :

• Being ranked at least on one of the leaderboards (having 10 games in any multiplayer game mode)
• that's it

DISTRIBUTION

The tool is 100% free and available for everyone who wants it.
I am not against some publicity, although this is not required, it's free so have fun with it.

Setup

The tool is designed to be ultra simple, simply put your ingame tag in the box on the right and click go.
This will open a page with the resulting overlay
You just have to put the url in your favorite streaming tool as a web resource and you are good to go (don't forget to put your screen size).

Note on design : The design is very simplistic and has been made to look like it's a part of the game.
Be careful when placing it on your screen as the width of the overlay depends on the player names and might extends(or shortens) on the right.

Does the overlay update when starting a new game?
Yes, you just have to wait one or two minutes in game.

The overlay used to work and doesn't anymore
Shit happens. Sometimes it can be because a new update of the game has just released. Feel free to let me know on stream or on discord (link on the home page).

When playing FFA color do not match
Yes that's true. At the moment, I have no data on what colors players have. The tool does not assign properly the teams in FFA. But the stats are correct, which is still nice.

When playing against the A.I, the stats of the A.I. are not displayed
Yes, that's because the A.I does not have any ranked. Logic.

Can we change the styling of the overlay ?
Not at the moment, or at least not directly. Some streaming tools allow you to inject your own CSS, but I did not try.

The stats fetched are not correct
It can happens taht the stats are the stats before the end of your last game. Sometimes the stats of the AOE4 servers are updated later, and for optimisation reasons i'm not pooling stats during an already fetched game. Although, this behavior is quite rare.
